 Membership in HENA is open to all persons who spend a significant amount of time in the sales, marketing, management, educational, or planning disciplines within the hospitality industry. Membership is by no means restricted strictly to the New Orleans area. Many of HENA's members are from companies along the Gulf Coast and throughout Louisiana. Regular membership may also be held by an individual who is involved in promoting, producing, or delivering support services to the travel, tourism or convention and meeting industries.
There are three types of memberships in
HENA:
- Regular Membership - This membership allows you full membership in HENA and voting priviledges. The cost is $75.00 per year. (Members of HENA receive the opportunity for reduced rates at most functions, and full access to the HENA website, which includes the HENA online roster and the online newsletter, 'The Hospitality Hotline.') All regular memberships run from January 1st to December 31st.
- Student Membership - Student Membership in HENA is available to students and educators at a reduced rate.
- Corporate Membership - For an annual fee of $500.00 this membership will allow your company to have eight listed company representatives and will extend full membership privileges to everyone in your company. This means that corporate members will now be able to send an unlimited number of representatives to all HENA functions (including the Supplier Showcase and Annual Convention) at regular member rates.
NOTE:
Regular and Corporate Memberships in HENA begin on January 1st and expire on December 31st. Student memberships are good for two consecutive school semesters.

Renewal
HENA bills its membership annually during the first week of December each year for the upcoming year. Renewals are due by February 1st in order to be included in the HENA membership roster. Renewals that are received after this deadline will not appear in the roster.
